Off the Page Gifts

I'd seen something like these on a blog somewhere (sorry I don't recall whose) and I just had to CASE them (Copy And Share Everything). Since I didn't have the original pic, I just made them up as I went along using the Tart & Tangy set from the Spring Mini catalogue and the Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper to match. Have used Bashful Blue ink on the edges of the "clipboard" and Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon. I think they turned out so cute and I'm sure "my girls" will love them (I sent them with their last orders).

Thanks with Always

I have only just started exploring the possibilities with my new set from the Spring Mini catalogue "Always." I have combined this one with an old favourite "Stem Silhouettes." Chocolate Chip and green (in this case Certainly Celery) are the colours of the week (along with Pink Passion). A very simple design, yet it took a while to get it just right - it's always the way!

Pick a Petal Masking

The Pick a Petal set is a bit of fun and very versatile also - I've seen so many different ideas when I've been blog-surfing!! This is using a very simple masking technique. Again, the three colours - there seems to be a theme at the moment - this card being black is very striking!

Stamps: Pick a Petal, Simply Said
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Pink Passion
Ink: Whisper White Craft, Basic Black
Extras: Stampin' Pastels, Stamp-a-ma-jig

Rock and Roll

I've seen this technique done a lot of late but have never tried it myself until now!! How easy it is to make a pretty groovy effect! I love the graduated colour change! Too easy! Love the versatility of Baroque Motifs - a different look every time! Here I've used very simple layers and the word window punch for a very effective card using only 3 colours - Whisper White, Pink Passion and Pixie Pink. I added the little loop of grosgrain ribbon to balance the card - amazing how something so small can change the look of an entire card!

For Dad

Here's a card I made for Dad for Father's Day. Went with the monochromatic look and very simple. It seems to work! My 5yo daughter loved it so much that she drew the image herself on a card for her Dad!!

Colours: Brilliant Blue & Whisper White
Stamps: Baroque Motifs & Big Deal Alphabet
